Day 1: Cairo - Gallala Mountains (Hiking Area)
- Morning: Travel about 3 hours to the Gallala Mountains, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
- Arrival: Enjoy a small refreshment before our Bedouin guide leads us on our first hike through the valley, educating us about the local flora and landscape features.
- Lunch: Return for lunch prepared by our staff.
- Afternoon: Furthermore continue exploring more parts of the wadi on foot.
- Evening: Overnight in tents with a barbecue dinner.
- Meals: Lunch, Dinner (D/L)
Day 2: Gallala Mountains (Hiking Area) - Cairo
- Morning: After a night under the stars, set off for another hike.
- Lunch: Enjoy an outdoor lunch before heading back to Cairo.
- Return: Arrive in Cairo between 5-6 PM, depending on traffic.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch (B/L)

Booking Policy
Reservation Process:
- We require a non-refundable deposit of USD$50 per person at the time of booking to secure your spot.
- The remaining balance is due 7 days before the tour departure date.
- You can make reservations online, via email, or by phone.
Payment Methods:
- We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, and cash.
- Full payment must be received before the tour departure to confirm participation.
Confirmation:
You will get an confirmation email with detailed information about the tour upon receipt of the deposit.
Cancellation Policy
Participants:
- If you cancel more than 14 days before the tour departure date, you will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
- If you cancel 7-14 days before the tour departure date, you will receive a 50% refund of the total tour cost.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour departure date or for no-shows.
Tour Operator:
- In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient participants, you will receive a full refund, including the non-refundable deposit.
- Alternatively, you may choose to reschedule your tour to a later date at no additional cost.
Weather-Related Cancellations:
- If we have to cancel the tour due to adverse weather conditions, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Rescheduling Policy
Participants:
- If you request to reschedule the trip, you should do it at least 7 days before the tour departure date.
- Rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before the tour departure date will incur a USD$30 fee per person.
Tour Operator:
- If we need to reschedule the tour for any reason, you will be notified as soon as possible and given the option to choose a new date or receive a full refund.
Special Considerations
Health and Fitness:
- Participants should have a moderate level of fitness and be able to walk and hike unassisted.
- It is recommended to consult with your doctor if you have any health concerns before booking the tour.
Age Restrictions:
- This tour is suitable for participants aged 12 and above. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Travel Insurance:
- Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellations, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation.

The hike is classified as either low to moderate difficulty, accommodating different fitness levels.
The tour starts in Cairo and it takes about 3 hours to reach the Gallala Mountains. The exact meeting point will be communicated after booking.
Included in the price are transportation from Cairo to the Gallala Mountains, a local Bedouin guide, meals (snack, lunch), water, camping equipment (except sleeping bag), and all parking fees.
We recommend good hiking shoes, a small backpack, sun protection, a flashlight, a light sweater, and your own sleeping bag for the camping experience.
Registration should be completed at least 48 hours before the start of the journey (by 1:00 PM) and requires a copy of the passport. Payment must be made one week in advance. Free cancellations are possible up to 48 hours before the start of the journey. For cancellations less than 48 hours before the journey, we retain 10% of the trip price. The organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or insufficient number of participants. In this case, participants will be offered a full refund or alternative dates.

Changes to the travel program can only be made by agreement and subject to availability.
