Day 1: Welcome to Stone Town

We pick you up from Zanzibar Airport and bring you to Shaba Boutique Hotel for an overnight stay in a suite. Overnight at Shaba Boutique Hotel or similar (B).

Day 2: Prison Island

Undoubtedly, your excursion to Prison Island today will be a special experience. The name Prison Island originated from the initial planning of establishing a prison. It was actually used for a brief time in the 1860s as a prison for rebellious slaves and a coral mine. No prison institutions were actually built on the island but rather became a quarantine station for yellow fever cases. Obviously today it became a tourist attraction worthwhile a visit.

Day 3: Shaba Boutique Hotel - Paradise Beach Resort

Today you will have the transfer to Paradise Beach Resort for check-in and overnight stay in a suite. Overnight at Paradise Beach Resort or similar. (B/L/D).

Day 4: Traditional Arab Dhow

To demonstrate another highlight of Zanzibar, your perfect travel agency will provide you with an unforgettable day aboard a traditional Arab dhow. A dhow is a traditional Arab sailing vessel with one or more lateen sails. It has been used extensively for transport and trade. In our days it is a peaceful and romantic way to illustrate joie of life.

Day 8: Hotel - Zanzibar Airport

After breakfast and check-out, a vehicle will take you to Zanzibar Airport for your flight home. (B).

Travel conditions for trips to Tanzania and Zanzibar:

  1.  To confirm your booking, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required.  You have to pay the remaining 70% at least 30 days before the start of the trip.
  2. You can do the payment  by bank transfer or credit card. Please note that additional fees may apply for credit card payments.
  3.  It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas, and all other necessary documents to enter Tanzania and Zanzibar.
  4. We recommend  strongly to take out travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.
  5.  The tour operator is not liable for losses, damages, injuries, or inconveniences caused by force majeure, natural disasters, political unrest, or other extraordinary circumstances.

Cancellation policy:

  1. Cancellation by the traveler:
    • Up to 30 days before the start of the trip: 20% of the total costs
    • 29 to 15 days before the start of the trip: 50% of the total costs
    • 14 to 7 days before the start of the trip: 75% of the total costs
    • Less than 7 days before the start of the trip or no-show: 100% of the total costs
  2. Cancellation by the tour operator: In case of cancellation by the tour operator, you will be refunded with all payments  or alternative travel arrangements will be offered.
