Itinerary for Our Weekly Desert Tours

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo Upon your arrival in Cairo, our team will warmly welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your comfortable hotel. Take this day to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Journey to Abu Mahareq Dunes We start early in the morning, heading southwest along the Bahareya Road. Our destination is the awe-inspiring Abu Mahareq Dunes. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a delicious lunch in the heart of the dunes. Spend the night camping under the stars, surrounded by the serene beauty of the desert.

Day 3: Exploring Abu Mahareq Dunes Dedicate this entire day to exploring the magnificent sand dunes of Abu Mahareq. Experience the thrill of traversing the undulating landscape and capture breathtaking views. As the sun sets, we will settle in for another night under the desert sky.

Day 4: Discovering Djara Cave In the morning, we will cross the road to reach the legendary Djara Cave. This ancient cave, adorned with stunning stalagmites and stalactites, was first described by the German traveler Gerhard Rohlfs. After exploring the cave, we will continue our journey along the road until we reach the Farafra Depression. Here, we will travel along the dunes and set up camp on the edge of the White Desert National Park.

Day 5: White Desert National Park Spend this entire day driving and walking through the surreal landscapes of the White Desert National Park. Marvel at the unique rock formations and take plenty of photos. Enjoy another night camping in this extraordinary natural wonder.

Day 6: El Heiz and the Black Desert We head back towards the Bahareya Road, stopping in El Heiz and the Black Desert. If time permits, we will take a refreshing swim in a hot spring in Bahareya before making our way back to Cairo. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for a restful night.

Day 7: Departure from Cairo After a hearty breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport. If you have booked an extra program in Egypt, we will ensure you reach your next destination seamlessly.

Booking and Cancellation Policy 

Booking Policy:

• A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot on the tour.
• The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the tour departure date.
• For bookings made less than 30 days before the departure date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date will receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
• Cancellations made between 15 to 30 days before the tour departure date will receive a 50% refund of the total tour cost.
• Cancellations made less than 15 days before the tour departure date are non-refundable.
• In the event of a no-show, no refund will be issued.
