Airport - Hotel - Day 1

Firstly, upon your arrival, we will pick you up from Cairo Airport and bring you to your hotel, a cozy place to begin your Egyptian adventure. Afterwards, our tour guide will welcome you, explain the program for the coming days, and answer any questions you may have. Overnight at Pearl Hotel, Maadi, or similar.

Pyramids - Sphinx - Day 2

Today, explore the last remaining wonder of the ancient world; the Pyramids of Giza have stood for nearly 4,000 years. The Great Sphinx of Giza, a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx with the head of a human and the body of a lion, faces directly from West to East on the Giza Plateau. Your guide will answer your questions and take you on a detailed tour of the site. Late, in the evening, take a short walk through the streets of Cairo to experience the vibrancy of this city firsthand. Overnight at Pearl Hotel, Maadi, or similar. (B)

Cairo - Aswan (Sleeper Train) - Day 3

Spend the day at leisure and take a night train to Aswan. Whether you want to sit in a café and watch the hustle and bustle or book an additional day tour, we are happy to help. In the evening, head straightaway to the station for your night train to Aswan. You will have your own compartment with a sink and beds, with a private waiter to pamper you before you comfortably let the wheels roll and wake up in Aswan. Overnight on the sleeper train. (B/D)

Aswan - High Dam - Philae Temple - Day 4

Your local guide will pick you up at the station and after that take you to the hotel so you can freshen up before starting the sightseeing tour. Today's visit includes the Aswan High Dam and the Temple of Philae. As a matter of fact, the High Dam, built between 1960 and 1970, is one of the world's largest dams and has had a significant impact on Egypt's economy and culture.

Furthermore, the Philae temple complex is an island-based temple built during the reign of Ptolemy II and dedicated to the deities Isis, Osiris, and Horus. Enjoy the picturesque feluccas on the Nile or the hustle and bustle on the streets of Aswan. Overnight at the hotel. (B)

Aswan - Abu Simbel - Nile Cruise - Day 5

Visit Egypt and the historical site of Abu Simbel, with two massive rock temples near the border with Sudan. Start early in the morning by car to the temple complex, dedicated to the gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, Ptah, and the deified Ramses II. Afterwards, when you return to Aswan, embark on your Nile cruise in the evening. Overnight on the 5* Nile cruise. (B/L/D)

Kom Ombo - Edfu (Nile Cruise) - Day 6

For the next few days, you will see the world from the water while visiting important historical relics on land excursions.To sum up, the Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved sites in Egypt, provides a detailed look into the religious and daily life of ancient Egyptians. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique double temple dedicated to the falcon god Haroeris and the crocodile god Sobek. Enjoy dinner and a peaceful overnight stay aboard the Nile cruise. (B/L/D)

Karnak Temple - Luxor Temple (Nile Cruise) - Day 7

Back on solid ground, check into your hotel in Luxor. Before doing so, visit the ancient temples of Karnak and Luxor on the east bank of the Nile. Admire the columns, courtyards, and statues. Karnak was dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu and is the largest religious building ever constructed. The Luxor Temple, mainly built by Pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II, is a striking, graceful monument at the heart of the modern city. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B/L/D)

Valley of the Kings - Hatshepsut Temple - Day 8

Occasionally rise early to visit the Valley of the Kings, one of Egypt's most spectacular travel destinations. Located on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor, it contains 63 magnificently decorated royal tombs. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)

 Luxor - Kharga - Dakhla - Day 9

Presently, leave the realm of the southern Pharaohs and embark on a journey through the unique atmosphere of the Western Desert. Visit the oases of Kharga and Dakhla. Near Kharga, stop at El Bagawat, one of the oldest Christian cemeteries in the world, and the Temple of Hibis, the largest and best-preserved ancient Egyptian temple in the Kharga Oasis. Finally, reach the Dakhla Oasis, historically at the center of an important caravan trade route. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)

Dakhla - White Desert - Day 10

Occasionally, walk through the oasis and explore its special charm. El-Qasr is a small village in the El-Dakhla Oasis with ancient remains, including the Mosque of El-Qasr and the Madrasa. Visit Deir el-Hagar, a sandstone temple uncovered and restored in the 1990s. Night in Farafra at the hotel. (B)

White Desert - Bahariya Oasis - Day 11

Travel to Egypt and explore the White Desert, known for its natural beauty and ecological significance. Further visit Crystal Mountain, an exhumed cave with glittering limestone crystal walls. Head to the Black Desert, covered with a layer of black powder and stones.

Finally, reach the Bahariya Oasis, known for its lush vegetation and natural springs. Visit the Valley of the Golden Mummies, the Temple of Alexander the Great, and the English Mountain. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)

Bahariya Oasis - Cairo - Day 12

Drive back to Cairo and visit the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar. All in all, the bazaar district is bustling with life, colors, and the opportunity to haggle for the perfect souvenir. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)

Departure from Cairo - Day 13

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight. In addition, we hope you had an unforgettable journey through the history and culture of Egypt! (B)

Booking and Cancellation Policies

Booking Policy

Reservation Process:

  • To book your Egypt cultural tour, complete the booking form on our website or contact our customer service team.
  • We require a deposit of 25% of the total tour cost to secure your reservation.
  • The remaining balance is due 30 days before the tour start date. If you make a booking  within 30 days of departure, we require full payment at the time of booking.

Payment Methods:

  • We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, and PayPal.
  • You have to make your payment in USD or the equivalent in your local currency, based on the exchange rate at the time of payment.

Confirmation:

  • Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a booking confirmation email with your tour details and payment receipt.
  • We will send you the final tour documents, including vouchers, itinerary, and contact information, after we received the final payment.

Travel Insurance:

  • We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal belongings.

Cancellation Policy

By the Traveler:

  • You have to cancel in writing via email to our customer service team.
  • The following cancellation fees apply:
    • More than 60 days before the tour start date: No cancellation fee (full refund of deposit).
    • 31-60 days before the tour start date: 25% of the total tour cost (loss of deposit).
    • 15-30 days before the tour start date: 50% of the total tour cost.
    • 0-14 days before the tour start date: 100% of the total tour cost (no refund).

By the Company:

  • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or insufficient bookings, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
  • We will notify you as soon as possible in case of cancellation and provide alternative travel dates or options if available.

Changes to the Booking:

  • If you need to make changes to your booking, such as altering travel dates or accommodations, please contact our customer service team.
  • If you want a change more than 30 days before the tour start date, it may be subject to an administrative fee.
  • We will consider changes within 30 days of the tour start date on a case-by-case basis and it may incur additional costs.

Refunds:

  • We process refunds within 14 business days of receiving the cancellation request.
  • Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment used for the original booking.

Force Majeure:

  • In cases of force majeure (events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, etc.), we will not be liable for any additional costs for the traveler. We will make explicitly every effort to provide alternative arrangements or reschedule the tour.

  • Please note that certain costs, such as visas, travel insurance, and flights, may be non-refundable. Check with your service providers for their specific policies.
