Temples Egypt: Explore Abydos and Dendera
Temples Egypt - Abydos Visit
At 07:00 am, your tour starts with a pickup from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor. Firstly travel by private A/C vehicle to Abydos city, about 135 km away.
Afterwards visit the Abydos Temple, dedicated to the Egyptian god of the underworld. Admire furthermore the well-preserved colors on the temple walls. King Seti I started to build it and King Ramses II completed it. So it features undoubtedly some of Egypt’s most beautifully preserved paintings of gods and pharaohs.
Temples Egypt: Dendera Temple Visit
Next, head to Dendera to explore the Temple of Hathor, the goddess of love and joy. Hathor was a major deity associated with music, dance, and motherhood. People know the temple, dating back to the Ptolemaic Period, for its impressive entrance with massive Hathor-headed columns.
Enjoy particularly the astronomical engravings on the ceiling and learn about the site's historical significance.
Return to Luxor
Finally conclude your tour around 5 pm and return to your hotel in Luxor.

Cancellation:
- Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled tour date are eligible for a full refund.
- If you cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before the scheduled tour date you will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Less than 48 hours before the scheduled tour date, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, such as extreme weather conditions or government-imposed travel restrictions, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. In such cases, you will get a full refund.
- Any changes or cancellations to your booking must be communicated to us in writing via email or phone call.
