Perfect hotel in Egypt – Hotel Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort offers rooms with sea views and balconies, providing excellent water for swimming and snorkeling.
It’s incredibly beautiful, a place of tranquility and relaxation—unquestionably highly recommended. Furthermore the resort’s amenities and service add to the charm, making it a perfect getaway.
A tour in the Wadi el Gamal Protected Area is very impressive. Always a delight, there’s so much more to see. The guide is friendly and pleasant, enhancing the experience. The stunning landscapes and rich wildlife make it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts.
Driving through the Wadi el Gamal desert in a single car, which usually never leaves the asphalt of the city, was not the best experience. Although we later learned that our driver was experienced in driving on sand, we felt uneasy. Next time, we nervous types would prefer to do desert tours with two cars, even if it’s “only” 50 km away from the paved road.
Actually, I’m not necessarily a “hotel vacationer”, but prefer more individual options. But there is one exception: Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort.
About 120 meters south of Marsa Alam, this place is a little “in the middle of nowhere”. A leafy avenue leads to the rather unspectacular entrance, where friendly staff help with check-in.
And then you walk through an open complex with various green areas and pools – if you want, straight to the hotel’s own beach.
I like playing bocce ball – the area here is perfect for it. The restaurant where you take your meals is also on the beach. Attached to it is a kind of Bedouin tent, where you can have a drink after eating and listen to the splashing of the waves. By the way – you can eat here all day with all inclusive. So it’s a good idea to find a few activities to put the calories back into use.
The rooms are bright and nicely decorated. And since the area is spacious, you quickly get the feeling of individuality.
Restless spirits, I still need the opportunity to go on a trip after a day at the latest.
Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort is the starting point for a variety of options.
Of course, the so-called Wadi Gemal in the eastern desert is particularly spectacular.
But the camel market in Shalatin – just before the border with Sudan, or an evening detour on the quad bike to an abandoned place with the appropriate name “Fata Morgana” also provide variety.
And in addition to the hotel’s own beach, there are the two famous beaches of Hankorab aka Sham El Luli and Golan, where I always felt like I was in a cinema advertisement for Barkardi Rum…
We have already sent many friends and acquaintances to this hotel – and so far everyone has really liked it.
